No Borders, No Customs:
Since December 27, 2007, the Czech Republic has belonged within the Schengen area and, therefore, has no national border controls with other Schengen countries. You enter the Czech Republic by car without having to stop at any border checkpoints. Similarly, there are no border checkpoints at airports when traveling to/from other Schengen countries. There are no Czech customs duties levied on collectors’ items and never have been. However, on the proceeds from all items sold, there is a uniform 21% Czech VAT – that is the only tax if you don´t pay VAT in your country. Participating in the Collector Fair in Prague is as easy as attending any exhibition in France, Spain, Germany, or Italy.
